Shank Brothers Mike Hillburger and Ralph Barnett sat down with the Secondhand Citizen crew live at Meatstock 2019 and had a chat about their passion for good food and BBQ and what direction they would like to see Australian BBQ move.
The Shank Brothers are a Brisbane based BBQ collective made up of passionate blokes who love to cook low and slow over a few cold beers.
Co-founders Mike and Ralph’s core focus revolves around learning the craft of how to cook great BBQ, sharing ideas, techniques and building new friendships.
When in competition mode, the boys try and find the balance between producing great results and enjoying the social side of simply hanging with likeminded guys and gals.
